Returns

At What A Room, attention to quality and craftsmanship of our furniture is very important to us. We encourage you to inspect the item upon receipt. If you have a concern or notice any quality issue, contact us and follow the guides for furniture and custom furniture below. 

Furniture (non-custom and case goods)

You can return most items for a refund or store credit as long as we are notified within 7 days of your delivery and our warehouse has received the item back within 30 days. You will be refunded your original purchase amount minus shipping costs and restocking fees starting at 20%. The item must be in its original condition and packaging to be accepted. All items will be inspected upon return.

Items delivered by White Glove Service or In-Home Delivery  that are received damaged or have a manufacturers defect: You have 72 hours to report if an item is damaged, defective or if you are unhappy with it in any way. Contact us and we will work with you to repair, replace or pick up the item for a return. 

If returned items need to be picked up from your home, you will be charged a pickup fee. Prices paid at the time of purchase are final. Returns on purchases made by cash or check will be refunded by mailed check after ten (10) business days of receipt of returned merchandise. Refunds by credit card will post to your account within three (3) business days.

There are a few items that can't be returned:

  • Clearance items
  • Items marked "non-returnable" (ie. rugs, mattresses, bedding, custom furniture, etc.)
  • Floor models
  • Items you have already assembled

Custom Furniture or Custom Upholstery

If you don't like what you got you can return custom furniture and custom upholstery within 60 days. You will be refunded the original purchase amount minus  a 50% processing fee and any related shipping costs. What A Room Furniture Inc. reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges of items that are not in as-new condition due to damage or misuse by the customer.

Nonrefundable Fees

Return shipping and return pickup fees are the customer’s responsibility and are nonrefundable.

Please measure your space (doorways, elevators, stairways, etc.) before buying products from us to ensure that they will fit into your home. If a product does not fit, it will be sent back to us and outbound and return shipping charges plus a restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@whataroom.com.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
