Custom Furniture and Special Orders

 

Returns

We strive to exceed your expectations. If you’re unhappy with what you’ve received, we accept returns within 60 days of delivery on custom furniture that is in new or like-new condition.

Upon return, your merchandise will be inspected & appropriate credits and/or refunds taken from the subtotal will be issued for the item(s) as well as any taxes due in accordance with state law. Returns on custom furniture pieces are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Initial delivery fee paid at the time of purchase will be forfeit. We’re happy to help you pick up the item from your home, but you will be subject to a pick up fee.

What a Room reserves the right to refuse returns of items that are not in new or like-new condition due to damage/misuse by the customer; this includes scratches, stains, and alterations. Please keep in mind that minor variances in size and shape may occur, as our custom products are handmade to order. We do not accept returns on one-off Special Orders; these are pieces with modification requests past our website offerings and/or use COM fabrics.


Exchanges

We accept exchanges on custom furniture if it becomes damaged upon delivery as long as it’s reported within 72 hours from the day the order is received. We accept exchanges within 60 days if the piece has a manufacturer defect. To request an exchange or address damage, please file a claim. A team member will be in touch within 24 to 48 hours.

 

Changes & Cancellations

Any requests to cancel or changes made to custom pieces will require communication within 72 hours of confirming the order to avoid fees. Changes/cancellations requested outside of this 72 hour window will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.


Non-Custom Furniture & Case Goods

Restrictions & Limitations

  • Our return policy is limited to (1) return or exchange per household.
  • The (1) return would apply to all/any items placed under one order.
  • You have (5) business days to finalize your return and provide necessary details after initiating your return or exchange with our team.
